ESOL Tutors
Location: Sheffield based
Hours: Up to 24 hours per week (generally set, but may vary)
Contract: Supply / STS / Flexible / Bank Contract
Duration: Until the end of the current term
Pay: £23 per hour basic (+ holiday pay, bringing the overall rate to just over £25 per hour)
The Role
We are currently seeking qualified and experienced ESOL Tutors to join our supply/bank team. You will be delivering ESOL tuition to learners working at Functional Skills and GCSE level, supporting them to develop their English language skills and achieve positive outcomes.
This is a flexible opportunity suitable for tutors looking for short-term, part-time work with consistent hours where possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging ESOL lessons to learners at Functional Skills / GCSE level
- Prepare learners for assessments and exams
- Adapt teaching to meet individual learner needs
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
- A recognised teaching or ESOL qualification
- Proven experience tutoring ESOL learners at Functional Skills and/or GCSE level
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Reliability and flexibility to work on a supply basis
